GET your hands on a new guide to help you stay fit and healthy over the summer.
The information pack includes details of organised walks and outdoor activities taking place in the town.
Clr Pat Wright, executive board member for health, wellbeing and adult services at the council said: “Being active helps us to lead healthier and happier lives, which is why this guide is so important for everyone living in Warrington.
“Building activity into your day keeps your heart healthy, reduces your risk of long term health problems and can improve low mood and feelings of anxiety.
“By using the guide you can feel stronger, fitter and more energetic. Best of all you can build up your activity levels at a rate to suit you. The booklet contains activities to suit all ages and abilities, and will go ahead whatever the weather.”
