THE latest chance to apply to become an officer with Cheshire Police has arrived.
Applications are open, but the deadline is Monday.
Applicants must have, or be willing to attain, the Certificate in Knowledge of Policing.
Previously, applicants were required to hold the CKP before being eligible to apply.
However, eligibility criteria has changed to accept candidates who are either currently working towards, or are willing to work towards, the attainment of the CKP.
Candidates must achieve the qualification prior to final offers of employment being made.
John Dwyer, Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire, is planning to recruit 100 officers by March next year.
However, overall officer numbers will fall in line with budget cuts.
To apply, go to cheshire.police.uk/jobs.aspx.
