EMERGENCY services were called and a street was cordoned off after an unknown liquid was discovered during a routine check at a home in Whitecross on Tuesday.
Officers attended the home on Fox Street at 5.25pm and discovered drugs paraphernalia and two small bottles of an unknown liquid.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “Standard precautionary procedures were implemented and emergency services attended the scene.
“These items were safely removed from the property and have been taken away for further examination.”
Two men, aged 25 and 39, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs and have been bailed pending further enquiries.
