FOOTBALL fever hit Cardinal Newman High School on Thursday just days before the final whistle was blown at this year’s World Cup.
Pupils went head to head as they competed to collect points for their teams during the World Cup themed independent learning day.
Throughout the day pupils took part in wild card activities which included a flag match competition and World Cup snakes and ladders.
The day came to a close with a parade and presentation.
