AN event to raise awareness of cancer among ethnic minorities living in Warrington took place in Woolston.
The Warrington Clinical Commissioning Group held the event at Woolston Hub to help people get details on services available.
There were stands from the John Holt Cancer Support Foundation, LiveWire, Warrington Public Health, Bridgewater NHS, and Healthwatch.
Ethnic Minority Cancer Awareness month was set to improve awareness of cancer and uptake of cancer services among ethnic minorities.
Around seven per cent of Warrington’s residents are from a non-white British background.
