Do you know mosque attack suspects?

Warrington Guardian: CCTV footage suspects police want to find in connection to an attack on the Arpley Street mosque CCTV footage suspects police want to find in connection to an attack on the Arpley Street mosque

CHESHIRE Police has released a CCTV image of suspects they are hunting, believed to be involved in an attack on the mosque in Warrington town centre.

Officers are again appealing for information after the mosque on Arpley Street was vandalised.

One man can be seen, apparently about to smash a window, with another man in the background of the image.

Police say they are treating the incident, on Monday, July 7, as racially aggravated criminal damage.

Sgt Rob Horton, of Warrington Town Centre NPU, said: "Enquiries are still ongoing and we would like to speak to anybody who may know the people seen in the CCTV footage.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident 1041 of 7th July, 2014.

Alternatively, information can be passed via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

I may get a lot of thumbs down for this but hey ho, freedom of speech and all that.

Would there seriously be this much exposure if it wasn't a mosque? Why does it have to be "Racially Aggravated Criminal Damage"? Are there not just mindless thugs that do this anywhere they want just for the "fun" of it?

We seem to be bowing down to too much recently, people need to be able to say what they think without people thinking that they are being racist just for saying it.

Many christian churches are not tolerated in muslim countries, those that are are regularly burned down and attacked, far worse than this crime.Yet the authorities do nothing. This country is soft, too much PC,too much looking after other races, religions than our own. Its all about them and their rights. We Indigenous British people are now second class citizens in our own country. Its not racist..its fact.I was in Basra Iraq 2003 & 2005. When saddam was in power there was a christian church, which was allowed, but regularly vandalised, attacked.
When saddam ousted, the muslims burned the church down, one christian was beheaded, and the rest were lucky to escape with their lives. Also, there is a British war graves cemetary near Basra, saddam didnt let the war graves commision in to clean it,but it was generaly left alone. However after saddam ousted, the muslims destroyed the grave stones, graffitti the stones, even some graves were dug up and destroyed. On our time off we went and repaired the cemetary, gravestones

Mike I hope you're getting the counselling you need to help you with what you experienced in Iraq. There certainly were a lot of seriously p****** off people in that country. I'm sure you can see the difference between the head of state attacking Christian churches and damaging war graves and unknown individuals doing it?

In this day and age theres no excuse at all to desecrate any house of worship

i agree mosques do tend to attract a lot of hate groups (and it looks good in the headlines anything to make a few extra quid)

and if i remember rightly was only a few weeks ago there was a story about a church in bewsey
that had been robbed.

so its not all one way traffic.

I just wish people would come out of the dark ages and see that we need to stick together and evolve as a human race.

not as individuals.

and finally cookie

Just think of them words
freedom of speech go look them up and how and why we have them (as politically as you can in this day and age of hatred)

and then look up how many people of different cultures, creeds and religion came together to fight a war.

It's sad to me that in the same issue of this newspaper we have a political party (who have released a series of videos of their leader and muscle dressed in paramilitary uniforms, harassing religious men in mosques) secretly campaigning in the town under the disguise of supporting our soldiers, then we have a mosque attacked by thugs, and then we have soldiers condoning the actions of the thugs by telling us what they've seen aboroad. I wonder if you lads might end up being more of a threat to the fabric of our society than any Birmingham teenager returning from Syria

You do know that someone can be British AND Muslim AND indigenous don't you? All of the "facts" that you've presented are actually opinions. Have you stopped to consider that the churches in Basra were burnt because you were perceived as invaders and in Iraqi culture this is seen as a method to drive aggressors away as they have no place to pray? Somehow, I dont believe that these examples are remotely similar to the story and you use this story to proliferate racist diatribes?

I'm not sure what a mosque being attacked in Warrington has to do with Saddam Hussein.
It shocks me that they let people like you in the military.
None of us are indigenous British people, have a read of some history books.
I think the people that are condoning this attack are a bit thick really.
Vandalism is wrong no matter who the victims are. I know certain sections of Warringtonian are unable to see this (again due to them being thick).

On our time off we went and repaired the cemetary, gravestones .[/p]
Well said mate i feel gour pain[/p]
Hope both you lads are getting the help you need and can realise that these are good, peaceful people who shouldn't have their places of worship attacked by mindless thugs. when i see people defending this kind of thing it makes me ashamed[/p]
Are you a muslim ??![/p]
Are Bruno and Tara brothers??
