A 66-YEAR-OLD cyclist was rushed to hospital by an air ambulance yesterday, Thursday, after crashing into a parked vehicle in Grappenhall.
The cyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was treated at Aintree Hospital for head and leg injuries following the incident at 5.20pm near to the junction of Church Lane and Chester Road.
A second ambulance also attended the scene.
The injuries are not believed to be serious.
It is understood there was another person involved in the crash but a spokesman for the North West Ambulance Service said there were no more details at this time.
