ST ROCCO’S Hospice is top of the shops once again after clinching a Charity Retail Association award for the second year in a row.
They were named most profitable charity shop chain in the category of six to 10 shops after being handed the accolade last year.
Eric Russell, trading manager for St Rocco’s Hospice, said: “It recognises all the charities that have shops in the UK and showed we made more profit per shop than anyone else last year.
“The success comes down to three things - All the people who give us all the stock, the loyal customers who come in and buy the donations and then the volunteer team.
“We have more than 300 volunteers working in our stores across the town.”
St Rocco’s Hospice has eight shops based in Golden Square Shopping Centre, Birchwood Shopping Centre, Hood Manor, Latchford, Orford, Lymm, Stockton Heath and the furniture shop on Bridge Foot.
