A 12 MONTH pilot scheme to help people with complex needs has been launched this week.
CRI Pathways to Recovery has been chosen by Warrington Borough Council to lead the programme which targets those with alcohol issues and have been highlighted in need of extra help from adult social care or mental health services.
These individuals are then supported by personalised recovery plans to help them defeat their alcohol use, and are offered extra guidance like housing support and psychological therapy.
Clr Pat Wright, executive board member for health, wellbeing and adult services said: “This project is targeted to give individuals with complex issues the help and support they need. Services will work together much more closely to prevent a situation from becoming critical and this should reduce the pressure on local services.”
