TWO men have been charged with conspiracy to supply diamorphine and crack cocaine after police found a significant amount of drugs in a raid.
Anthony Butterworth, aged 36, of Trafford Avenue, Bewsey and Keith Meadows, aged 39, from Liverpool appeared at Halton Magistrates Court on Thursday after police pounced on the pair on Wednesday.
The pair had been under surveillance by officers over the course of a few weeks before they swooped.
In the raid officers found 101 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine.
Meadows and Butterworth were remanded in custody and will next appear at Chester Crown Court on July 7 for a preliminary hearing.
