COMMUTERS in Warrington are facing misery this rush hour with two accidents on the town's motorways.

One lane of the M6 north between Knutsford and Woolston was closed until 6.10pm following a crash. The speed limit is now down to 40mph.

While on the M62 an accident between Birchwood and Croft heading towards Liverpool closed the outside lane until 6.20pm.

Traffic is much heavier than usual in Warrington as a result.

A guy was broken down in the outside lane of the 62 right near winwick junction, traffic highways agency guys towed him off the motorway to get things moving. Cheaper than the AA or RAC I guess :)
