BUDGET supermarket Aldi will open its doors to its fourth store in the town on Thursday at 8am.
The shop off Sandy Lane and Winwick Road, which includes a car park with 145 spaces, will sell around 1,400 product lines and will be open seven days a week.
To celebrate the shop’s opening, a golden envelope containing a special ticket to win prizes including a 32" Full HD LED TV, a HDMI DVD player and a digital camera will be handed out to the first one hundred people in the queue.
Aldi store manager, James Harrison said: “We hope the local community enjoy the grand opening celebrations and our high quality products at everyday low prices.”
The store, which can be located on the former Fordton Leisure Centre site, will be open from Monday to Saturday at 8am to 10pm and on Sundays from 10am to 4pm.
Aldi has recently hired 55 staff as part of its recruitment drive and is seeking a further 25 workers for its stores across the town.
