Motorists travelling southbound on the M6 Thelwall Viaduct this morning faced delays after two lanes were blocked by metal pipes.
Two lanes were blocked between junction 21 in Woolston and junction 20 at the Lymm Interchange causing delays for drivers at around 10.30am.
It is understood that the pipes have now been cleared and all lanes have now been reopened.
