THE 75 Engineer Regiment have joined forces to celebrate the town’s military heritage at a Proms in the Park event on July 19.
Held in Bank Park, next to the Town Hall, the event will to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the First World War with live music and performances from The Band and the Corps of Drums of the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment, The Warrington Pipe Band and Danielle Louise Thomas, Mezzo Soprano.
Gates will open at 3pm and performances will begin from 6pm.
All proceeds from the event will go ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, Combat Stress and St Rocco’s Hospice.
Tickets are £7 for adults, £6 for concessions and children under 14 accompanied by an adult are free.
