TRIBUTES have been paid to Mary Bonner, chairman of the Shannon Bradshaw Trust, after she died aged 64.
The Great Sankey-based children’s charity said Mary was a big part of the cause and would be greatly missed.
Patti Bradshaw added: “It is with a very sad and heavy heart to have to say that Mary Bonner, a big part of the Shannon Bradshaw Trust and Community centre, has sadly and unexpectedly passed away at the age of 64.
“Loving wife of the late Tony Bonner and devoted mum to Joanne and Claire and loving nan to Charlotte, Laura, Alex and Ben.
“Mary will be very sadly missed by all her family, many friends and all the community.”
A requiem mass will take place at St Joseph's RC church on Meeting Lane in Penketh on June 20 at 12.15pm followed by committal at Walton Leigh Crematorium at 1.40pm.
Family flowers only, donations if desired, to The Shannon Bradshaw Community Centre /care of the family.
After the funeral, family and friends will head to the Crown and Cushion pub in Penketh.
