READERS have snapped these amazing shots of lightning over Culcheth on Tuesday night.
Tracey Lynn Weare Myers said she took the picture with her iPhone of the storm while Matt Catherall took a picture of the thunder cloud over his house and said the storm lasted for over an hour.
The Met Office issued an amber warning for rain and thunder last weekend but the weather should be much sunnier across the town over the next few days.
