WARRINGTON Borough Council have appointed Newcastle based lawyers to advise on the creation of a social enterprise to deliver adult social care.
Bond Dickinson will advise the council on a number of issues including business transfer, regulatory, real estate and corporate.
The social enterprise scheme means it will be owned and managed by its own staff.
The appointment was secured via the North West Legal Consortium Framework, which covers local authorities in the north west.
Kevin Robertson from bond Dickinson said: "Bond Dickinson has a track record of delivering major projects for public sector bodies and this new appointment is a ringing endorsement of our expertise and experience."
Steve Reddy, operational director for adult social care added: "We were impressed by the team's enthusiasm for the project and the depth of their relevant experience."
