A 31-YEAR-OLD who sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl in a town centre shop has been jailed.
Irmantus Ratevicius, of no fixed abode, targeted the girl who was in Argent looking at jewellery at 2.15pm on Saturday, November 9.
Ratevicius approached the girl and touched her sexually.
But his actions were caught on CCTV and after a police appeal in the Warrington Guardian he was arrested by police.
At Chester Crown Court on Friday he was handed an eight month prison sentence as part of an early guilty plea scheme.
PC Graham Davies, from Warrington Town Centre NPU said: “The victim was left very upset and traumatised by her experience and was thankfully spared the experience of having to face her assailant in court.”
