WOLVES fans dug deep to help make a bucket collection for Warrington Disability Partnership (WDP) the biggest yet.
Staff and volunteers collected from fans at the match against Leeds Rhinos last week and managed to raise £1,165.
The funds will aid WDP in delivering their services and promoting independence throughout life and work.
Dave Thompson, WDP’s founder and chairman, said: “I would like to offer my sincerest thanks to WDP staff, volunteers, friends and the Warrington Wolves for supporting us on the night with our collection.
“I am delighted with the amount raised and proud to say that this is the largest sum we have ever raised from a bucket collection. Thank you to both sets of supporters who gave so generously.
“I would also like to add that the Wolves have donated some great prizes to us – including a signed rugby ball and shirt –which will be auctioned off during our DAD mega barbecue, quiz and charity auction event at Walton Hall Gardens on July 11.”
