FOUR roads in Bewsey have now been re-opened after fire crews battled flames at engineering company Jones Nuttall.
Firefighters were called at 9.55am this morning to the business on Lilford Street and used covering jets to cool acetylene cylinders on the site.
A cordon had been set up around the area including Lilford Street, Folly Lane, Hoyle Street and Bewsey Road and nearby premises evacuated while emergency services dealt with the incident.
A Cheshire Fire spokesman confirmed there had been no casualties and the railway line had not been affected.
Firefighters are now preparing to leave the scene after cooling the cylinders and monitoring the temperature.
The cordon has been reduced to the affected building with people being allowed to return the surrounding premises.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
