ARSONISTS struck at an Orford home, setting fire to the front door.

Cheshire Police are appealing for help following the attack, which took place at 12.30am on Friday, May 30.

The house on Alder Lane was occupied at the time and had accelerant poured through the letterbox which was ignited and the door caught fire.

DC Stephen Deehan, from Warrington CID, said: "This is a very serious offence and police are keen to trace two men seen in the area just prior to the event. The men were seen with another person pulling up in a small, two door, gold coloured Peugeot and approaching the property wearing balaclavas."
