THE fate of Stockton Heath Primary School will be decided at a meeting on February 1.
The controversial planning application to bulldoze and rebuild the 90 year-old building will be made at a special meeting of the development control committee at 6.30pm at the Town Hall.
Despite the original plans being quashed in March last year.
The historic school has survived one plan to demolish and replace it after a massive campaign by a number of parents and residents.
While others are backing the proposal saying the pupils' educational needs must come first.
Last month, Warrington Borough Council's executive board decided to resubmit the plans, believing the current building is simply too run down.
However, the new blueprints closely resemble those that were knocked back by councillors 10 months ago.
Public opinion remains divided. Members of the public are welcome.
