A BLU-RAY DVD thief who has stolen more than £100 worth of stock from WHSmith in Warrington is back in jail for the third time this year after committing the same crime in London.
The Warrington Guardian reported in April this year Daniel Smith, aged 21, of no fixed abode, was arrested in the toilets of the Barley Mow pub in March after a member of Golden Square staff recognised him from CCTV stills.
He was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison but shortly after his release repeated the feat at the same branch of WHSmith on May 3 before disappearing down to London.
Two days later he was arrested again for stealing DVDs this time from WHSmith Central London.
A court date for Smith in Warrington is still to be arranged.
