Levi Roots passes on secrets of success to Warrington children

ENTREPRENEUR Levi Roots shared his secrets to becoming a household name when he visited the Warrington Youth Club to talk about his success in business.
The Rastafarian musician and businessman, whose Levi Roots Soft Drinks are distributed by Newton-le-Willows based Vimto, is best known for slaying the dragons on BBC TV show Dragons’ Den, where Peter Jones was one of two judges who invested £25,000 for a share of his company producing reggae reggae sauce.
Levi Roots said: “I am passionate about inspiring young people. I’m a proud ambassador for The Prince’s Trust and I visit hundreds of young people as part of my School of Life Tour.
“Warrington Youth Club is a vital place for young people across the town. It is places like this which gives them the confidence and inspiration to thrive to succeed.”
Dave McNicholl, chief executive of Warrington Youth Club said: “We were thrilled to welcome Levi Roots to the Club.
“He was an amazing speaker and the children and young people were inspired by both his success with his food and drink brands, but also his musical ability that got them all dancing. He definitely brought some Caribbean sunshine to Warrington.”
