AN investigation into maternity services at Warrington Hospital will give patients and relatives the opportunity to meet the investigative team to discuss their patient experience.
The news was announced in May’s CCG report after a number of calls and e-mails to the CCG from members of the public regarding five identified stillbirths at the hospital.
The report added: “Since this report in February there has been the identification of five cases which has led to the CCG to formally write to the provider.
“The CCG welcome the news that the hospital has now engaged a team from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists to undertake a level 3 investigation to identify any areas where the provider may need to make changes to the delivery of care.”
