Warrington Asda customers raise £10k
STAFF and customers at a town centre supermarket have been celebrating after raising £10,514.76 for good causes.
The March/April winners of the ‘Chosen by you given by us’ Asda green token scheme at the Cockhedge Centre store was the Shannon Bradshaw Trust which wins £200 while Warrington Samaritans and Beamont Primary both received £50 as runners up.
Nominees for May/June are veterans charity Blue Apple Heroes, the RSPCA and Jump children’s charity.
