A CAR has crashed into a shop at the Cockhedge Shopping Centre in Warrington.

The collision happened around 7pm on Monday at a curtain and bedding shop at the retail park in the centre of Warrington.

It is not thought there were any serious injuries.

Despite the vehicle completely smashing the window of the Linen Warehouse store, staff say it has been business as usual the morning after.

Area manager Pearl Sutton said she and her team had worked through the night to ensure the store was open and joked there were plenty of comfy beds around so they could have a break.

She added: "I got a call at 8pm saying there's a car in your shop and have been here all night.

"I was a bit stunned when I heard the news but we have been getting on with sorting things out.

"They could only secure part of the shop so it's been cold and we're just waiting now for the rest of it to be secured."
