THE recruitment window to become a police officer with Cheshire Police opened today, Monday, with a huge amount of interest expected.
Applications are for the police constable role - the entry level for a new police offer.
Anyone wishing to reply is required to have completed the certificate of knowledge in policing, or the foundation degree in policing, law and investigation.
To apply, go to cheshire.police.uk. The closing date is Sunday, May 25.
John Dwyer, Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire, said 100 officers will be recruited by March next year.
However, the overall number of frontline officers will be reduced by 56 to 1,900.
New recruits are coming in to replace leavers.
