STAFF at a community centre in Penketh would be forgiven for thinking they have been seeing double recently.
After an appeal in the Warrington Guardian, a new multiples playgroup have been calling Olive Tree Community Centre, Chapel Road their home on Friday mornings.
Open to twins and triplets, 20 mums with more than 40 children have regularly been attending the ‘Mad about Multiples’ group from 9.30 to 11.15am.
Mum Helen Boyes, who has one-year-old triplets Freya, Ava and Liam as well six-year-old Daniel and five-year-old Thomas helped set up the group after finding it was helpful to have conversations with other mums who ‘know what you are going through’.
She added: “The community centre have been absolutely fantastic with helping us and all multiples are welcome up to the age of four.”
Entry is £2 a family including tea and toast.
