WORK on a mural to brighten up a new ward treating ill patients with dementia is taking shape ahead of the opening later this month.
Artist Anthony Turk, the creator of Warrington’s Pink Eye and the man behind the nautical mural around the children’s ward, has been working on the masterpiece behind an area made to look like a bus stop in the town.
It is hoped the area will encourage patients to get away from their bed and socialise with others.
