THE Warrington Guardian’s charity of the year is searching for its next set of volunteers to help it continue with its invaluable work.
Home-Start Warrington is on the hunt for volunteers who will make a real difference in the community by supporting families who are struggling to cope.
Volunteers will help families deal with a wide range of issues including post natal depression, illness, bereavement, poverty and isolation.
All volunteers will undertake a 40 hour training course over eight weeks.
Training, which is free and includes lunch, will start on Wednesday, June 4.
Home-Start Warrington will also be hosting a jumble sale on Saturday, May 10, from 1pm at the Fairfield and Howley Neighbourhood Centre on Fairfield Street.
