YOUNG people can quiz the town’s key decision makers on Warrington’s youth strategy.
Schools have been invited to the youth challenge event on Wednesday where pupils can ask the people who run young people’s services a range of questions.
Fiona Waddington, assistant director for children and young people’s targeted services, said: “The youth strategy was launched in 2012 and set out to improve services, activities, and access to facilities for young people such as gaining employment, access to drug and alcohol advice, transport and independent living.
“This is a great opportunity for young people to help shape the services that we provide for them and their input is extremely valuable if we are to continue to support the next generation by providing them with skills, training and opportunities to allow them to fulfil their dreams and aspirations.”
The event runs from 4pm in Times Square. Refreshments, activities and information stalls will be available and attendees will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 shopping voucher.
