STAFF at Tesco have rewarded a marathon charity effort in store.

Phil Chadwick, former Warrington Wolves trainer, spent a weekend last month cycling, rowing and running to raise money for Parker - the Great Sankey tot battling a rare form of cancer.

He raised a remarkable £5,000 for Alder Hey at the event.

And on Friday, staff from the superstore on Winwick Road rewarded him with baby outfits to give to Parker.

Phil Chadwick is a lovely man, he puts so much into his town from educating on the environment to advice to kids on keeping fit and eating healthy. It's an amazing amount to raise on his own. Well done
