Warrington Guardian: Orford girl in running for Trafford Centre award Orford girl in running for Trafford Centre award

FROM shop girl to style hero, Megan Bass is on the way to scooping up the title of Britain’s most stylish shopper but she needs her home town to get behind her in a bid to be crowned the winner.

The 21-year-old, from Orford Avenue, has won the public vote in the first round of the contest to find the best-dressed customers at intu Trafford Centre.

She said: “I’ve never won anything in my life, so this has been a huge shock to me. A nice shock though.

“I’ve always been interested in fashion and clothes, so I really enjoy my job at Topman but to be chosen as a style hero is just amazing. I can’t believe people like my look so much they would vote for me.”

The stylish former beauty and make-up student at Warrington Collegiate is now in with the chance of getting her hands on a £1,000 cash prize and a photo shoot.

Megan, who works as a sales assistant in Topman at intu Trafford Centre, added: “I am over the moon to be voted the first Style Hero, and I’d love to repeat this success in the voting for local finals.”

Voting opens on Monday, visit intu.co.uk/style-hero-2014.
