POLICE and crime commissioner, John Dwyer, hit the streets of Warrington to find out residents’ views on policing.
The mobile surgery stopped outside Asda Cockhedge last week to speak to people about issues and improvements that could be made.
Mr Dwyer said: “Of the 34 people spoken to, 22 said that they thought their local police do a good or excellent job.
“Many people wanted to raise local issues which ranged from parking problems, especially for wheel chair users, petty crime and young people playing football in the streets to some more hard hitting issues such as drug dealing and burglary.
“I will be passing the information given to me to the local Warrington policing team to follow up.”
