EIGHT children from the Little Stars Stage School had their first taste of stardom when they recorded a voice clip for a new television show.

The youngsters recorded the short shout out, which was recorded at music producer Keith Hopwood’s house in Cheshire.

Keith said: “The Pip Ahoy! theme song is an uplifting and jolly tune that captures the fun and excitement you may have had on those treasured family holidays by the seaside when you were younger.

"They were fun, exhilarating and sometimes, surprising – Pip Ahoy! promises all that and more."

The animated series Pip Ahoy!, which is scheduled to be aired in the autumn, will also feature the voice of 2009 X Factor finalist Stacey Solomon.
