Girl, 15, arrested over racist assault
A 15-YEAR-OLD girl has been arrested for a racist attack on an Eastern European couple in Warrington town centre.
The teenager was arrested at around 1.30pm today, Thursday, by officers from Warrington Town Centre NPU.
Police say she was part of a group who assaulted the couple in the courtyard off Horsemarket Street at 9pm on Wednesday.
She was reported as shouting at the victims ‘go back to where you belong’.
The female is currently being questioned by police.
