A LOWER Walton business has been doing their bit to support Ciaran’s Cause after donating a defibrillator to the Birchwood charity.

Paul Robinson, senior day manufacturing technician at Perstorp Warrington, handed over the piece of life-saving equipment to Ciaran’s mum Marika after the company installed two defibrillators on their two production plants in Warrington.

Marika, who reached the charity’s original milestone of providing a defibrillator for every primary school in the town following the tragic death of her seven-year-old son last month, added: “The defib will be donated after Easter to Sandy Lane nursery which has 103 children including some who have special needs so I think it’s very important for them to receive one.”
