A 25-YEAR-OLD motorcyclist remains in a critical condition in Aintree Hospital after a serious crash.
The man was operated on over night after being taken to the hospital via air ambulance.
The accident happened about 6pm on Wednesday at the junction of Poplars Avenue and Martin Avenue in Orford.
Police say the motorcyclist, from Warrington, remains in the critical care unit.
His family are at the hospital.
The collision between the Aprilla motorbike and a black Ford Focus shut Poplars Avenue while investigation work took place.
The driver of the Focus was not hurt.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting incident 689 of April 9.
