DO you have what it takes to impress Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole to become the next big smash-hit singer?

The X Factor auditions are coming to the north west and will be stopping off in Warrington on Friday, April 25.

No stone will be left unturned as the first round of auditions gets underway visiting 43 towns and cities across the UK and Ireland in a bid to find the next musical star.

The X Factor creator Simon Cowell said: “The last time I was on the show we discovered One Direction, Cher Lloyd and Rebecca Ferguson.

“This year we’re visiting more towns and cities than ever across the UK to find the next pop star ready to take on the world. So if you’re thinking about auditioning, just do it.”

To be in with a chance of getting your hands on a record contract, all hopefuls need to do is turn up on the day at the Golden Square Shopping Centre.

There is no need to apply beforehand.

If you manage to impress The X Factor team with your vocals, you may have the opportunity to audition in front of Simon, Cheryl and the other X Factor judges, who have yet to be revealed, in the summer.

Acts are advised to turn up early as audition slots are on a first come, first served basis.

Auditions will start at 1:30pm and the queue will close at 4pm.
