VOLUNTEERS, learners and mentors were honoured at the Brighter Futures ceremony to celebrate their achievements in the community.
The Mayor of Warrington, Clr Peter Carey, attended the event at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood along with senior council officers.
Kath O’Dwyer, director of families and wellbeing, said: “It was so inspiring to hear the stories of how people have moved their lives on, and to hear about what they have achieved.”
Brighter Futures has provided training for 184 people on a wide range of subjects including safeguarding, equality and diversity, suicide prevention, first aid, health and safety and employability.
