GYM bunnies including the club’s oldest member Freda Slough, aged 70, have been attempting to keep up with a marathon challenge to raise cash for Scope.

Following last year’s successful fitness event at the Park Royal in Stretton, members have been trying to match the pace of Iron Man athlete Glyn Knight and complete a 2.5 mile swim, 112 mile cycle and 26.2 mile run.

The personal trainer at the hotel gym will be taking on the challenge in Wales in September and hopes to complete it in less than 12 hours.

Visit uk.virginmoneygiving.com and search for Glyn Knight to donate.
