TOWN centre pubs The Looking Glass and Friar Penketh are backing CAMRA campaign ‘LocAle’ supporting pubs that sell locally-brewed real ales.
The Campaign for Real Ale has been handing out stickers to those providing real ales within a distance of 30 miles from pub to brewery.
Tony Dawick, from The Looking Glass, said: “Local beer is great for jobs in the area as well as a good point of pride for the town.
“It also enhances the town by ensuring that money is diverted into the local economy.
“We welcome suggestions from customers to stock unique products from the local area and have excellent ties with breweries in the region.”
