INFERTILITY services in Warrington are up for review this month and residents are being urged to have their say.

Commissioners could decide to implement the NICE fertility guideline which recommends offering three full cycles of IVF to eligible couples.

Clare Lewis-Jones, chairman of the National Infertility Awareness Campaign, said: “This is a great opportunity for commissioners to adopt the NICE fertility guideline in its entirety.

“To date, the region has outperformed several other areas of the UK, however the level of provision still falls below that which has been proven – once in 2004 and again in 2013 - to be the most clinically and cost-effective.”

Anyone who is registered with a GP from Warrington CCG can have their say until April 7.
