A MAN has been jailed for 18 months for raiding a Co-op store in Penketh for cigarettes and booze.
Tyler Forshaw, aged 24, from Liverpool, was sentenced at Chester Crown Court after pleading guilty to burglary.
Wearing a balaclava, he entered the shop on Warrington Road at 12.50am on Wednesday, January 22, forcing open steel shutters.
Forshaw stuffed loot into a large bag before fleeing in an Audi estate along Stocks Lane.
The arrest was made following a police appeal for information in the Warrington Guardian.
