Charity car washes at Birchwood and Stockton Heath
FIREFIGHTERS at Birchwood and Stockton Heath fire stations will have their sponges and buckets at the ready on March 29 for their annual charity car wash.
Crews will be at the station on Ordance Avenue from 10am to 4pm and on Ackers Road in Stockton Heath from 11am to 3pm cleaning cars in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity.
Mark Cashin, deputy chief fire officer, said: “Drivers will not only be helping The Fire Fighters Charity but they will also take away vital road safety advice which could save their lives.”
