YOUNGSTERS will be singing to help raise money for St Rocco’s Hospice.
Five schools across the borough have been holding auditions to select two pupils to go on to compete in the final on Monday.
The big event will take place at Sir Thomas Boteler CE High School from 6.45pm were you can see youngsters from Priestley College, Great Sankey, Penketh, Sir Thomas Boteler and Culcheth high schools compete.
Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for young people and you can pay on the door.
The 10 finalists will each perform one song in front of a panel of judges with the winning student being awarded a two hour recording session at the Star Studios at Gullivers World.
The school or college they represent will win £500 worth of musical prizes, kindly donated by Shaun Stevenson of the Ring O’Bells pub, on Church Street.
