THREE people remain in hospital with serious injuries following a major crash on Friday.

Police say three vehicles were involved in a collision around 8.25pm at Kingsway Bridge in Latchford.

And they say all three people are still stable following the accident. Nobody has been arrested.

Two vehicles, a black Rover and a white Ford Focus were travelling on the A50 towards Latchford when the collision happened with a black Corsa which was heading in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Rover suffered a serious leg injury and the passenger has also suffered serious but not life threatening injuries. They were both cut free by firefighters.

The driver of the Corsa also has to be cut free and has also suffered serious but not life threatening injuries.

The Focus was also involved in the collision but nobody was seriously injured.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the crash or anyone who may have seen the vehicles in the moments before the collision to get in touch.
