MOTORISTS are facing massive delays on the M6 this morning due to roadworks.
The Highways Agency say it is taking almost two hours to travel from Standish near Wigan to junction 21 at Woolston.
The delays are being blamed on the work on the Thelwall Viaduct which started last week and the morning rush hour traffic.
The delays are hitting the southbound carriageway.
