A CALL employee has been ordered to pay more than £5,000 in compensation after making unauthorised alterations to phone contracts.
Peter Leslie Parry, aged 30, of Rylands Drive, was sentenced for three counts of fraud at Halton Magistrates Court on Monday.
The defendant ‘abused’ his position at Hero TSC to change commitment dates in phone contracts.
He also made unauthorised credits, discounts and cancellations.
The offences happened between August 17, 2010, and May 5, 2011.
Parry was told to pay £5, 576.62 in compensation.
He will also do 300 hours community work, and pay £85 costs.
